Objectives

Our project aims to raise awareness about climate change and find ways to solve this problem with 21st century digital competences and innovative teaching approaches. Our project will foster the evolution of students’ ICT competences, as well as of their personal and social skills which are not necessarily developed through classical courses: creativity, capacity for teamwork, etc. The ITEC-Designing the classrooms of future strategies will encourage the pupils work on the real problems.

Implementation

The methodology will be project based combination of eTwinning and itec-designing the classrooms of the future with 21st century digital competences.

1. Learning of programming by ARDUINO in ecological improvement,

2. 3D Eco-land models for greener and cleaner environment,

3. Gaining skills to work in e-learning platforms ‘Moodle and Wanda’,

4. Integrating ‘programming with STEAM’ into environmental education process,

5. Using PYTHON programming language in finding solutions for climate change.

Results

The results of our project are: website, brochure, e-book, eTwinning space, published articles, documentary films, Taskade, Wisemapping, Pecha Kucha, Facebook page, open source OER.

With the project, each school will meet innovative teaching and learning platforms, the pupils and the teachers will have an international perspective and one more experience of the taste of creating new things and materials with their friends from other cultures for developing solution ways on climate change.
