Burdur Alpaslan Ali Can Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi where primary, middle and high school gifted and talented students study in the fields of art, music, and general mental ability is a public school. At the school, bringing up useful individuals for humanity is aimed by enabling gifted students to transfer their ideas and talents in the best way. The school has been successful in many national competitions organized by TUBITAK, eTwinning and Türkiye Intelligence Foundations and supports all teachers, students and other personnel who want to make a project. At the school, there are 240 students aged 7-18 and 25 teachers. Project-based, interdisciplinary, enriched and differentiated educational programs are implemented and educational activities are organized in accordance with the abilities of the students in order to realize original products, projects and productions at the school.

At the school, students are able to study arts, literature, drama, software, foreign language, leadership, mechatronics, renewable and sustainable energy, intelligence games, thought education, urban culture, and similar fields. At the school; research, experimentation, observation and practice are made predominantly. Workshops on innovative web tools are held in the school regularly, so their students reach and acquire knowledge by using technology. Also, at the end of teaching period; science and arts festival, TUBITAK science fair, drama and poetry presentations, interviews, music festivals and art exhibitions are organized regularly by the school every year. Thus students are given an opportunity to show their works and projects that they produce during academic year.
